Mark Karlinsky began violin studies with Dr. Anna Rosnovsky in 2006 at the Musicians of Tomorrow Music School, founded by Maxim Vengerov. Since September 2009, he has continued his violin studies with Professor Irina Etigon. Mark participated in numerous concerts both in Israel and abroad.

In October 2010, Mark performed a solo violin performance at UN Headquarters Building in New York City. That same month he performed at the Frederick Rose Hall, Lincoln Center in New York City.

In 2012, Mark gave a solo violin performance with Israel Philharmonic Orchestra at the

Smolarz Auditorium in Tel-Aviv. He also performed a violin recital with pianist Vag Papyan at Concert Hall in Ashdod.

In 2013, Mark performed solo violin at the Central Park Auditorium, New York as a part of the Keshet Eilon Music center concert. He also gave a solo violin performance with the Israel Sinfonietta of Beer Sheva in Jerusalem. During that same year, Mark performed with the Ashdod Symphony Orchestra at the Yad Lebanim Hall in Ashdod.

In April, 2014, he gave a solo violin performance with Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (Intermezzo series) at the Jerusalem Theatre. During the same month he performed solo violin with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra at Heichal Hatarbut – Charles Bronfman Auditorium in Tel Aviv.
